SpeedTax Announces Diana DiBello as Director of Product Development
Former Grant Thornton and Vertex SALT expert to guide direction of technology and service
offerings at fast-growing SaaS sales tax management service provider
Laguna Hills, Calif. – October 8, 2008 - SpeedTax, Inc., a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), fully-automated sales tax management solutions today announced the appointment of Diana DiBello as its Director of Product Development.
DiBello was most recently Senior Manager in Grant Thornton’s State and Local Tax (SALT) division, and her resume also includes 13 years in the Tax Research Department at Vertex.
As Director of Product Development, DiBello will guide the direction and manage the development of SpeedTax’s technology and service offerings, including ongoing integrations with ERP applications, retail point-of-sale, and electronic shopping carts, in addition to helping set the road map for further SpeedTax enhancement and products. As DiBello joins SpeedTax, the company is completing integrations with Sage MAS 90 ERP and MAS 200 ERP, Sage Accpac ERP, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and QuickBooks Enterprise, Pro and Premier Editions.
DiBello brings over 20 years of experience in a variety of tax disciplines to SpeedTax. She specializes in sales, use and telecommunications taxes, and her industry expertise encompasses tax technology, jurisdiction identification and local tax processing, tax process analysis and improvement, audit preparation, training and tax software implementation.
DiBello will make her public debut with SpeedTax at Sage Software’s annual customer conference, Sage Summit, to be held in Denver from November 17-20, 2008. Sage customers will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with DiBello at the SpeedTax Genius Bar, located within the SpeedTax booth, and ask questions related to all aspects of sales tax with respect to their unique business situations. The SpeedTax Genius Bar will be available to Sage Summit attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
The author of numerous articles on tax topics, DiBello has been quoted in publications including the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s magazine, The Journal of Multistate Taxation, and National Public Radio’s “Marketplace”.
