David Lahey Joins SpeedTax as Executive VP, Sales & Marketing
Former Sage VP of Sales assumes key senior management role at SaaS sales tax
solution provider following fresh influx of private equity funding
Laguna Hills, Calif. – February 1, 2010 – SpeedTax, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), fully-automated sales tax management solutions, today announced the appointment of David Lahey to the newly-created post of Executive Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, effective immediately. Lahey will report to SpeedTax CEO Anton Donde.
The appointment follows an announcement earlier this month regarding a new injection of private equity funding for SpeedTax from original investor group Committed Capital.
Lahey comes to SpeedTax from Sage, where he served as VP of Sales for the Sage MAS 90/200/500 ERP and Sage Accpac ERP product lines.
